Watch Taylor Swift tell Stephen Colbert that “Hey Stephen” isn’t about him

Taylor Swift stopped The late show with Stephen Colbert Tonight (April 13), where Colbert was immediately asked if Fearless the song “Hey Stephen” was about him. “No, Stephen,” she said. This turned into a whole, in which he revealed a lot of intimate details that he knew about Colbert’s life and work. She also showed a moodboard covered in Colbert’s photos before claiming the song is about Stephen King. Watch as it happens below.

After the appearance of Swift promoting recently released Fearless (Taylor’s version), the show featured musical guest Lucy Dacus. He appeared in the show to perform the live debut of the single “Hot & Heavy”, which has just been released.

Fearless (Taylor’s version) is the first of six albums that Swift re-records following the sale of the master recordings in its catalog to Scooter Braun and subsequently to the investment firm Shamrock Holdings. Fearless was originally launched in 2008. The new edition presents it folklore and always collaborators Aaron Dessner and Jack Antonoff.
