Kobe adored his family and in a previous post, after retiring in 2016, he wrote: “I am so excited to see what God has in store for us as a family now that one chapter closes and new ones open.”
He met Vanessa in 1999, when she was 17 and working as a background model on a music video and they got engaged six months later and got married in 2001.
Kobe was 21 years old and had played three seasons in the NBA.
In the early days, there was a huge media frenzy around their relationship with a television helicopter that once flew over the Vanessa High School campus, trying to imagine them together.

Intense attention to their relationship forced her to miss her high school ball.
It is said that Kobe’s family refused to attend their discreet wedding because they apparently were worried that he was too young to get married and were worried that there was no pre-nuptial agreement.
In 2003, the year their daughter Natalia was born, Kobe was arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a 19-year-old man in a Colorado hotel. The rape allegations were later dropped after he claimed to be consensual, and Vanessa appeared with him at a news conference, where he admitted to cheating on her.
The weeping star said to his wife, “You are my backbone. You are a blessing. You are a piece of my heart. You are the air I breathe.

He added: “You are also the strongest person I know and I am very sorry that I have to obey you and that our family has to go through this.”
Subsequently, the accuser dropped all charges.
The couple suffered a heart attack in 2005, when Vanessa had a miscarriage due to an ectopic pregnancy. He later blamed himself for the stress he went through.
Speaking on the Showtime documentary, Kobe Bryant’s Muse said: “We should build our family. But because of my mistake, because of this tough year, I lost a child.
The couple had their second daughter Gianna in 2006.

But in 2011, their relationship was back on the market and Vanessa filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences” and was to get half of Kobe’s $ 150 million fortune.
But two years later, they said the divorce was annulled and in 2016 they had their third daughter, Bianca.
Kobe and Gianna, a basketball player in love, were on their way to Mamba Academy for basketball training when the helicopter crashed around 10 o’clock in the morning.
The other seven people on board were also killed.
The pilot – locally named Ara Zobayan – was trying to turn the aircraft around when he smashed the hills of Las Virgenes Canyon, which hosts celebrities, including the Kardashians.
Orange Coast College baseball coach John Altobelli, his wife Kerry and their daughter Alyssa were also among the dead.
