“Dementia affects his ability to understand hearing,” Lavid wrote. “His emotional suffering is directly related to his dementia and exacerbated by his confusion.”

Lavid also noted that Tom’s short-term memory, ability to concentrate and recognition are “moderately impaired.” He also said that Tom suffers from “moderate” illusions.

Robert’s lawyer did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.

Girardi’s health problems began in December 2020, when he was hospitalized for a “serious illness. Robert claimed to be suffering from short-term memory loss in January.

Robert has been named Tom’s temporary curator, who was stripped of his California State Bar office this week in early February.

Tom remains involved in various legal scams, including Jayne’s divorce, which filed for dissolution a few weeks before the former couple was sued by a law firm representing the victims of Lion Air 610 for alleged money laundering as part of divorce.
