BOSTON (CBS) – There are many different ways to successfully lead a football team. Obviously, Bill Belichick’s stoicism works. Pete Carroll’s unadulterated exuberance works, too. There is no right way to train.

So, if one were to say that Bruce Arians has a very different coaching style than Belichick, it is not necessarily a support of one and a rejection of the other. It states only one fact.
And while Tom Brady would not he says a controversial word about Belichick publicly, and while Belichick would never say a bad word about Brady publicly … well, Arians don’t seem to have a problem with causing trouble.
“I think he also makes a personal statement,” Arians told Sports Illustrated. “You know? Not everything was coach Belichick.”
Oh. This is a spicy taco.

It is also the second half-beard the Arians have taken at Belichick, as coach Bucs said after winning the New Orleans divisional round that allows Brady “to be himself. New England did not allow him to train. I allow him to train. I sit down sometimes and watch. ”
The most recent comment came amid a larger feature, which also included how the Aryans listened to Brady’s suggestions during the break at Bucs’ Week 13 and fully surrendered the reins of the defender’s offense. According to Arians, the coach wanted QB to feel as comfortable as Bucs tried to win for the rest of their schedule and even told Brady, “If you don’t like it, [something], we throw her out. ”
While Brady will always look forward to his 20 years with Belichick, handing over the keys to crime in Tampa – from recruiting Rob Gronkowski, Antonio Brown and Leonard Fournette, to becoming the de facto assistant offensive coordinator in the middle of the season – it’s the kind of leash that Brady obviously never was given back to Foxboro.

This does not mean that one path was right and the other was wrong. The six Lombards parked near the Gillette Stadium strongly claim that, in the end, the Patriots conducted their operation quite well.
However, it is impossible not to notice the stark difference in almost everything around Brady in Tampa compared to his previous life in New England. While the quarterback has certainly focused more on winning than proving his wrong old boss, it would be naive to believe that Belichick’s refusal to engage with Brady after the age of 40 did not reach Brady. very long the list of grievances (real, imagined and others).

In this sense, Arians’ claim that Brady intended to prove that he could win without Belichick has a hint of truth. Just don’t expect Brady to ever say it out loud.
