There is a new chapter in the ongoing war of words between sports media personality Colin Cowherd and Browns defender Baker Mayfield. No one but Tom Brady has banned himself in the constant barrage of criticism of Mayfield by Cowherd.
When Cowherd – predictably – went after Mayfield for tweet no. 6 about the possibility of seeing a UFO, Brady appeared unexpectedly in Mayfield’s defense in his own tweet.
Cowherd said: “Joe Montana, Troy Aikman, Terry Bradshaw and Tom Brady have never seen aliens. I’d rather my boys not talk about it. ”
That caught Brady’s eye, and the winning Super Bowl QB took on the task of getting Cowherd to stop the continuous, nonsensical hatred he was pouring into Mayfield.
It’s not always easy for Browns fans to like Tom Brady, but this is a case where Cleveland has to greet TB12.
