The United States has administered 183.5 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines, says the CDC

(Reuters) – The United States has administered 183,467,709 doses of COVID-19 vaccines and distributed 237,791,735 doses since Saturday morning, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said.

These figures are up from the 178,837,781 doses that the CDC said were administered by April 9, out of 233,591,955 doses administered.

The agency said 117,142,879 people received at least one dose, while 70,692,645 people were fully vaccinated as of Saturday.

The CDC account includes the Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech two-dose vaccines, as well as the Johnson & Johnson one-shot vaccine, starting Saturday at 6 a.m. EDT.

A total of 7,764,006 doses of the vaccine were given in long-term care facilities in the United States, the agency said.
