The crowd protests against the joke of the “SNL” vaccine as anti-Semitism

“Saturday Night Live” did not laugh on West 49th Street, as dozens turned out with megaphones and signs to protest a joke from the previous week about vaccinations in Israel.

The crowd, led a few hours before the show aired by former state assemblyman Dov Hikind, chanted “Shame on NBC!” and “Anti-Semitism is not funny!” in front of the NBC West 49th Street entrance.

Comedian Michael Che provoked side effects when he joked about a recent “Weekend Update” segment: “Israel reports that they have vaccinated half of their population. I’ll guess it’s the Jewish half. ”

“It’s amazing they haven’t apologized yet,” Hikind told The Post.

“They did something so terrible, so horrible, that I am personally sick and tired of an important network like NBC that pampers itself with the spread of hatred. That’s basically what they did. ”

He promised to continue “whatever needs to be done” until the issue is recognized.

“I will not be silent about these things that really endanger the Jewish people,” he said.
