Rocket League Season 3 Patch Notes revealed, live update

Missile League Season 3 will not be fully live and will run until tomorrow in the popular video game, but before the release, the big update itself is available on different platforms on which the game can be played. When Rocket Pass goes live, it will add a new car, but before that, this update especially adds a new trading system that should make it easier and more rewarding to get rid of unwanted inventory items.

Beyond this update has no extreme consequence. It comes with new additions, new music, bug fixes and more, but none of them will change the game and will not really improve the overall game experience. That being said, when measured by the length of patch notes, this is definitely one of the biggest updates in recent weeks.

CHANGES AND UPDATES

  • Trading update
    • Trade Ins are now managed in their own section of the garage
    • All items eligible for trading fall into three categories:
      • Basic series items
      • Tournament objects
      • Plans
    • The Trade In menu displays how many eligible Trade Ins you have, sorted by category and rarity
    • Trade Ins continues to function as before:
      • 5 Uncommon = 1 Rare
      • 5 Rare items = 1 Very rare
      • 5 Very rare = 1 Import
      • 5 Imports = 1 Exotic
      • 5 Exotics = 1 Black Market
    • Tournament objects and (disclosed) plans can now be traded regardless of series. The tournament item or Plan you receive from a Trade In is directly related to the series of items in which you traded.
      • For example, if you trade three Ignition series plans and two Ferocity series plans, you will have a 60% chance to receive an Ignition series plan and a 40% chance to receive a Ferocity series Blueprin
  • Player eligibility
    • Before activating trading with other accounts, new accounts must:
      • Reach level 30 of XP
      • You have 50 or more minutes in online matches
    • Accounts with XP levels 30-99:
      • It can trade three times a day
      • Limit of 2,000 credits per transaction
    • Accounts with XP levels 100-249:
      • It can trade ten times a day
      • The limit of 10,000 credits per transaction
    • Accounts with XP level 250 or higher:
      • Unlimited transactions per day
      • Limit of 100,000 credits per transaction
  • [PC] New frame rate options
    • On the Video tab in Settings, the FPS slider on your computer has been replaced with a “Frames Per Second” drop-down menu menu
    • This menu will give you a list of GPU-based FPS options and displays
    • The “Uncapped” option at the bottom of the list will ignore the framerate limit when vertical sync is off, but may cause the screen to break for some players, depending on your hardware configuration
  • General
    • The settings will now sync with EOS cloud and share in all connected accounts
      • Nintendo Switch support for cloud synchronization will come in a future update

    • Each playlist the Play menu option has a rad new image
    • The unlock timer has been added for the seasonal challenge stages
    • Added support for links to the game’s news panel

BUG FIXES

  • Corrected appearance of Team Liquid decals when high quality Shaders are activated
  • Fixed a bug that caused the music playlist to appear off-screen when the interface scale was reduced
  • A player’s first transaction will no longer be blocked for 20-30 seconds after you activate 2FA in your Epic Games account.
  • Fixed a bug affecting the “Invite to Party” option in the Friends List if both players play through the Epic Games Store
  • [Tournaments] Teams that have won two out of three matches should no longer see additional matches generated against the same opponent
    • This bug fix depends on PsyNet updates related to tournament access and matches in the coming weeks.

  • Fixed a bug with the Challenge Free Season display counter
  • Localization corrections for French, German, Japanese and Polish

Missile League is available for free on Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC.
