Prince Harry is expected to go home to his pregnant wife Meghan Markle on Monday after his whistle-blowing trip to the UK for his grandfather’s funeral, according to a report.
Harry spent most of his first visit to the UK from Megxit in quarantine at Frogmore Cottage, his Windsor home, which had a renovation that cost taxpayers $ 3 million just before Megxit was announced.
He then allegedly faced a “great freeze” from his family at Prince Philip’s funeral on Saturday, with some members of the king not even acknowledging his presence.
However, Harry was seen speaking briefly with Prince William – although after his brother allegedly requested their separation while following the coffin to St. George’s Chapel.
Their father, the heir to the throne, Prince Charles, also plans to extend an olive branch, with numerous reports saying he was taking Harry for a walk on Sunday to see flowers left at Philip’s.
Harry is not going to stay around – and will fly home to California on Monday, sources told MailOnLine.
Page Six had first reported how the Duke of Sussex was planning a quick return to his mansion in Montecito so as not to leave his pregnant wife and their son, Archie, two, alone for too long.
Markle, who is expecting his daughter in early summer, was banned from accompanying him on a doctor’s order. Instead, she wrote a handwritten note to Philip to be left with a wreath in honor of the Royal Marines.
