Lynda Carter pays tribute to her late husband Robert Altman

Actress Lynda Carter went on social media on Wednesday to honor her late husband, Robert Altman. The passing of the 73-year-old gaming CEO was announced last week by his company, ZeniMax Media.

“One week ago, my beloved husband Robert A. Altman died,” the “Wonder Woman” star began. “Robert is the love of my life and he always will be. The 37 years of marriage were an extraordinary gift. I shared the passion, I hope everyone is lucky to experience it in their lives. We protected each other and we were always mutual champions. ”

She continued: “We have always been grateful for the two beautiful lives we created together: our children, Jessica and James. They are the lights of my life and were Robert’s greatest joy. I see so much of Robert in them and I know he lives through them. ”

Carter continued to thank fans for his condolences before concluding the heartfelt note with a message addressed directly to his girlfriend.

“For Robert: You are the most honorable person I have ever had the privilege of meeting. And I have to be the wife and mother of your children. Thank you for giving me all the love in my life.

“Nothing could prepare our family for this moment, but we will do our best to follow our dreams and honor the legacy you left behind. I will love you always and forever. ”

Carter and Altman were married in 1984.
