angels – LeBron James and his Lakers colleagues were already upset after a Wisconsin prosecutor decided Tuesday not to charge a police officer who shot a black man last year.
Then came Wednesday, when a violent crowd loyal to President Donald Trump stormed the United States Chapter to delay Congress in certifying the results of the November election.
What James saw on television with his family continued to strengthen his vision of the country’s great division.
“We live in two Americas and an excellent example was yesterday. If you do not understand or see this, you should take a step back. Not just one step, but four or five or even ten steps back, “James said Thursday night after losing to Los Angeles Spurs 118-109.
“How do you want your children or grandchildren to live in this beautiful country? It wasn’t like that yesterday. I couldn’t help but wonder if they were the kind who assaulted the Chapter, what would have been the result. We all know what would have happened if someone had come closer, especially if there had been a strong entry, “he added.
James wore a T-shirt when he entered the Staples Center before the game, which read “Do you understand now?” He also wrote the sneakers during the game. The players and coaches of both teams hugged in a circle in the middle of the field during the national anthem.

When asked what he meant by his shirt, James said he wanted people to understand what athletes and blacks were saying.
“You will never understand the feeling of being a black man and woman in America,” James assured.
“Do you understand how difficult it is to continue to inspire and give everything we have? Everyone goes up in search of what we offer, what we bring. How we dress, music, culture, food. Everyone steals from what we do and then wants to act the way we did or brought her into this world. We do not bring our diligence or anything back to your country, except for a slap in the face. “

Tuesday’s decision by a prosecutor in Kenosha, Wisconsin, not to press charges against the officer who shot Jacob Blake, sparked anger in the NBA.. Blake’s incident was one of the many issues players focused on last summer when the game was resumed on the ball in Orlando, Florida.
James criticized Trump during his four years in office and said that what happened in the United States Chapter was a direct correlation with what the president represents.
“She doesn’t care about this country or her family. I saw the tweets until this destruction. We’ve all known for the last four years, ” He commented. “One thing that can never be recovered is time. I literally (wasted) four years in the trash. “
“It simply came to our notice then. We should set an example for all other countries on how to make things work and change the world, and yesterday we looked like the third, fourth, fifth country in the world. It was embarrassing, “he said.
Spurs coach Gregg Popovich, who also did not shy away from expressing his views on President Trump, said he believes the president is enjoying Wednesday’s uprising.
“I think with all my heart that Trump liked it,” Popovich said 90 minutes before the start. “They talked about the police and how easy it was, they removed the barriers and went straight in. This only happens if there is a clip and somewhere. That just doesn’t happen. It never happened in a protest that someone attended. So I don’t think it’s so discouraging that people are starting to talk about the 25th Amendment. We know it probably won’t happen, “he said.
Popovich took the time to praise James, calling him “an iconic figure.”
“As a human being and a citizen, someone who looks at the social problems of our time does not do it with hatred. He’s just telling the truth, “Popovich said of James.
