The Brooklyn Nets have announced that guard Kyrie Irving is against the robbers for personal reasons for Thursday, and head coach Steve Nash would not have learned of the All-Star leading to the resignation.
He told a news conference that when he heard that Irving had left, he contacted the 28-year-old. Conformable athleticJoe Vardon, a source, said Irving is “OK,” but his return schedule is unclear.

On January 5, Kenosha County Prosecutor Wisc decided not to prosecute the police officer who shot Jacob Blake, leaving him paralyzed. The shootings took place on August 23, 2020, three months after George Floyd died while being violently restrained by Minneapolis police officers.

This summer, Irving was reportedly against the league, which resumed the balloon amid racial injustice and led a call of more than 80 players in June before the restart. He advocated for players to focus on social injustices after Floyd’s death.

Following Blake’s shooting, NBA and WNBA players chose not to play in more games in protest. More teams, such as the Milwaukee Bucks, released statements following news from Kenosha.
“The Bucks organization stands firm against the excessive use of force by law enforcement,” the statement said. “Last year shed light on the ongoing racial injustices facing our African Americans and other marginalized communities … As an organization, we remain firmly committed to issues of social injustice and anti-racism and making significant changes for African Americans. and all the marginalized members of our community. ”
Leving’s former teammate LeBron James spoke Tuesday about the prosecutor’s decision during his post-game interview.
“Hearing what happened today in Kenosha was a blow to the heart and gut.” James said. “Not only for that community, but also for us and for every black person who was part of this process and who saw these results for so long. And not only in the black community, but also in the white community, which sees moments like this happening to us, to happen to his family, to happen to the child himself. See that the verdict was a blow to the gut and a blow to the heart.
“We must continue to remain strong, continue to believe in each other and continue to press for greater change and greater good.”
Several NBA teams – the Heat, Celtics, Bucks and Pistons – reacted before and during their games on Wednesday night.
“To be honest,” Celtics coach Brad Stevens said, “I didn’t think we’d play in 30 minutes.”
Players from Miami and Boston released a statement before the game and knelt during the national anthem.
“2021 is a new year, but some things have not changed” the statement read. “The drastic difference between the way the protesters were treated last spring and last summer and the encouragement given to today’s protesters who acted illegally only shows how much more we have to do.
“We decided to play the game tonight to try to bring joy to people’s lives. But we must not forget the injustices in our society and we will continue to use our voices and platform to highlight these issues and do everything we can to work for a more equal and just America. #BLACKLIVESSTILLMATTER “
The players from Milwaukee and Detroit passed with the opening tip, took the ball from the edges and knelt as one.
