death of Mexican actress Josefina Echánove, who had a prolific career on national television and made an international projection through cinema, was confirmed last Tuesday by his relatives.
The death was reported by his daughter Peggy Echánove, a journalist who explained this in a statement his mother had died at the age of 92 and that the family will take a break from public life to recover from this hard blow.

Born in New York, USA, Josefina grew up in the central state of Guanajuato.

Her death generated reactions from various institutions, such as the Mexican Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMACC), which, through social media, recognized her work as an actress.
“AMACC regrets the death of actress Josefina Echánove, with more than 50 film and television appearances; she was nominated for Best Actress in a Film on two occasions: in 1991 for her work in “Por tu maldito amor” and in 1993 for “Serpientes y escala”, she mentioned on Twitter.
Likewise, the Ministry of Culture and the National Institute of Fine Arts issued a message regarding the death of the first actress, who was recognized for her work and contribution to culture in Mexico.
