John Mulaney’s weird “Late Night” clip before detox raised concern

Fears of John Mulaney’s sobriety and mental health began after he made a bizarre appearance on Seth Meyers’ show, wearing dark glasses and calling Prince Harry a “stupid ginger” and Meghan Markle a “stupid goose.”

In the “Late Night” video, posted on YouTube on November 24, Mulaney – who exclusively revealed that page six checked for cocaine and alcohol addiction – hosts a fake “Royal Watch: News from the” Crown “segment of life and jokes that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were annoyed by COVID because it diverted all media attention from their “stunt” Megxit.

Mulaney – wearing a ragged oversized coat and sunglasses – said that Harry was “the real fool of this fairy tale … Ginger targets, don’t leave the title just because you don’t like your 94-year-old grandmother.”

“This is the definition of something you expect, gangsta. I’m pretty sure my father’s time will solve the case of the very old woman who had 30 months to live, “Mulaney said before adding,” Ahh, too bad. ”

After Meyers brings Princess Diana to her death, Mulaney – who eventually took off her sunglasses to reveal dark, gloomy eyes – said of Meghan, “You know it’s weird, don’t you, that Meghan and Harry are gone?

“Did you think it would be fun to roll with those weirdos in church clothes? Were you told there were laughter non-stop? Because you think of “Munsterii”, “stupid goose”.

The 38-year-old continued: “The fact that she wanted to leave the royal family because they were like ‘to be fair and to stay calm” … So, don’t marry the family to the most boring people in life and then be like, “Oh, let’s play Never Have I Ever?”

Mulaney also adds, “I’m really simple and difficult,” before Meyers was forced to describe how the Google News algorithm works.

At the end of Mulaney’s disturbing speech, punctuated by long pauses, Meyers – who had earlier asked him to “start over” and inexplicably asked him to write the word “sheriff” – said: “I like to have you here, but in future, if you just want to talk about such things, a phone call might be better … We’ll see what we can use, but it could only be online. ”

Mulaney adds: “The next ‘Royal Watch’ will be a little more focused … Thank you Seth and, as one student reporter once wrote about me, ‘Thank you for laughing, albeit virtually.'”

A spectator on Twitter said about the clip after Page Six revealed that Mulaney had gone on a 90-day rehabilitation in Pennsylvania, “If you’ve been following @sethmeyers lately, you should have known something happened.”

Another wrote“Three weeks ago I felt that something serious had happened * besides the appearance of John Mulaney on Seth Meyers.”

Yet wrote another commentator, following the news about Mulaney’s rehabilitation condition, “He just seemed in this segment and I was very confused, it was weird to look at him and see him like that, but it makes sense now, unfortunately.”

A source told us that Mulaney “went crazy” about the substances during the recording of the segment and raised major concerns about his health. Mulaney’s representative declined to comment.

Meanwhile, Page Six can also exclusively reveal that Mulaney’s close circle of friends in the world of comedy, including “SNL” guru Lorne Michaels and Pete Davidson, encouraged him to get help.

An “SNL” source told us: “He has a close inner circle of friends who have been incredibly supportive. [by] encouraging him to get help and [staying] super tight.

“For everyone else, it was not as clear that they were fighting, but it was a stepping stone for so many other people that everyone knows they should get the help they need.

“Pete and Lorne have been incredibly helpful,” says the source, “Mulaney is like Pete’s older brother and they always tour together.”
