A man between the ages of 30 and 35 died suspected of suffering from Covid-19 on board a bus on route 633, which travels through the main streets of Jalisco, Mexico.

It happened when the transport unit was traveling to the Mercado del Mar area, according to the Milenio.com site.

Witnesses assured that at times the man even had to take off his mask to breathe because he was drowning. “It was irritating to see the person coughing,” they noted.

Eventually the man collapsed and at the stop located in the Peripheral Ring on Juan Pablo Segundo, in the Belenes neighborhood of the Zapopan Municipality, the driver stopped his march to ask for help.

At that point, Green Cross paramedics came to help the person, they couldn’t do much, minutes later they confirmed his death.

Zapopan’s civil defense and firefighters have disinfected the area, the unit’s driver, passengers and all involved personnel to avoid any contamination in case of coronavirus death confirmation.

Meanwhile, Ministry of Health employees took witnesses’ records to check their health; They also took samples of the body to test for coronavirus.

Mexico stands for regrowth

Mexico’s death toll from coronavirus surpassed India’s Thursday, making it the country with the third highest number of deaths from Covid-19, according to Johns Hopkins University.

The latest data from Johns Hopkins shows that Mexico has reported 155,145 deaths from covid-19 since the start of the pandemic, while India has reported 154,010.

India has a population of 1.35 billion, more than 10 times that of Mexico.
