It seems that Epic Games has a major change in the store Fortnite ongoing because a recent leak suggested that something big was happening at the Coliseum location. The game has not received major updates in the last few weeks due to the holiday season, but regularly Fortnite it should start now, when we are a week away in 2021. That could mean a big change in the map, which means that a special event could be underway as Epic Games plans for the next season 6.
In terms of leakage, this is the prominent path Fortnite Leaker and dataminer, “Mang0e”, who recently took to Twitter to reveal that a new version has been added for the Coliseum in a recent update that is not currently in play. Specifically, they discovered files and goods that suggest the Colosseum is about to be filled with water.
Now, this could suggest a larger event involving a certain type of flood or it could be a more isolated change. As the data analyzer points out, the Romans occasionally filled the Colosseum with water for massive ship battles. And, as you can see in the picture below, there is a ship, plus a lot of docks for players to sit on.

For now, take everything here with a grain of salt. Not only is nothing official here, but data leaks can be misleading, and of course, everything is always subject to changes in video game development. With Fortnite Specifically, I saw Epic Games adding a lot of game files that never go into the game itself.
