Biden’s early priorities uniting the country against Him

President Joe Biden’s early priorities unite the country against him, a former adviser to former President Donald Trump said on Saturday.

“Is there a normal person in this country right now who thinks the top priority is to make sure we don’t deport illegal aliens who have committed violent crimes against American citizens? Stephen Miller, who has been Trump’s adviser for four years, said during an appearance on Fox News’ “Watters World.”

Miller also referred to Biden’s executive orders, which cancel the construction of the Keystone XL pipeline and join the Paris Climate Agreement.

“Whose priorities are these? These are the priorities of a small group of far-left special interests, who have jobs, wealth and security, and who look down on ordinary citizens who just want to live better, safer and healthier lives, ”said Miller.

While Biden promised to unite the country, so far “he has united Democrats, Republicans and independents against his open frontier agenda,” Miller added.

The White House did not respond to a request for comment.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki told reporters after Biden signed a series of orders on the opening day that Biden “will rule for all Americans.”

“This, of course, must be supported by actions, as you have said,” she added. “But he will venture to do that in – in every policy he pursues, in every commitment he has, because he feels that if we can come together, we will be a stronger country.”

Some groups of voters who supported Biden announced opposition to some of the orders signed in his first days in office.

The International Workers’ Union of North America cheered when Biden won the election. But the union condemned Biden’s cancellation of the Keystone pipeline, saying it would “kill thousands of well-paid jobs in the union”. The United Union of Plumbers and Pipefitters Association has also announced its opposition to the cancellation.

Biden’s moratorium on new oil leases and drilling permits has also drawn criticism.

“During his inauguration, President Biden spoke about the reunification of our nation. Eliminating drilling on public land will cost thousands of new Mexicans jobs and destroy what is left of our state’s economy, “Carlsbad Mayor Dale Janway told the Associated Press. “How does it bring us together? Environmental efforts should be fair and well researched, not knee mandates that are just affecting an already impoverished state. ”
