Soprano singer Violeta Dávalos Lara He died on Thursday, at the age of 52, reported the National Institute of Fine Arts and Literature (Inbal) and the Ministry of Culture.
“The Ministry of Culture regrets the sensitive death of Violeta Dávalos Lara, a notable Mexican soprano who had a remarkable artistic career in the ensemble of fine arts soloists”wrote the second institution on Twitter.

The singer studied singing at the National School of Music of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). His professional debut had at the age of 19 the main role in the opera “Aída”, directed by Giuseppe Raffa.
During her career, Violeta Dávalos has worked with artists such as Juan Pons, Aquiles Machado and Rolando Villazón. In addition, she starred in operas such as “Tosca” and “Madama Butterfly”.
The grand prize of the first Ibero-American singing competition in 2001 and the national singing competition “Carlo Morelli” are some of the Awards which Dávalos achieved in his successful career.
