Patrick Mahomes paid tribute to GOAT after arriving briefly in the 2021 Super Bowl.
“You’re a legend, man,” Mahomes told Tom Brady after bosses fell in front of buccaneers 31-9 on Sunday.
Brady replied, “You’re a stud, brother.”
The Super Bowl was considered an unmissable match between Brady, the 43-year-old miracle, and Mahomes, the 25-year-old, some already consider him one of the best defenders of all time.
But as Brady did his part, throwing for 201 yards and three touchdowns on his way to winning his seventh Super Bowl record – more than any NFL franchise – and fifth-place MVP, Mahomes threw two interceptions because the bosses failed to score a touchdown.
The Big Game marked the second meeting in the playoffs between the two defenders, Brady winning the first in the 2019 AFC championship.
After that game, Brady pulled Muhammad aside for a discussion.
Mahomes won the Super Bowl and MVP award the following season.
