The CA health worker dies a few days after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine

A California X-ray technician died earlier this month, just four days after receiving the second dose of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, a report said.

Tim Zook, 60, died at UC Irvine Medical Center on January 9 after he first became ill at South Coast Global Medical Center – where he worked – a few hours after receiving his second jab. informed the Orange County Register.

Zook, a father married to three children, had shared his enthusiasm on Facebook after the vaccination was completed.

“I have never been so excited to shoot myself before,” he wrote on January 5, the report said. “I am now fully vaccinated after receiving the second dose of Pfizer.”

His rapid decline in health and his final death left his wife, Rochelle Zook, looking for answers.

She said that in addition to the high blood pressure, which was controlled with medication and being slightly overweight, her husband was healthy.

“We don’t blame any pharmaceutical company,” Rochelle told the newspaper. “But when someone has symptoms 2 1/2 hours after the vaccine, this is a reaction. What else could have happened?

The message is, be safe, get the vaccine – but officials need to do more research. We need to know the cause. Vaccines should be as safe as possible. Every life counts, “she said.

The cause of Tim’s death, which has not yet been determined, is being investigated by the Orange County coroner, the report said.

“If it is found that there may be a correlation with the vaccine, we will immediately notify the OC Agency for Health,” Carrie Braun, a spokeswoman for the law firm, told the newspaper.

California’s Health and Human Services is also investigating state vaccine-related deaths.
