Fan and modder Zelda Waikuteru has returned to it with another mod for the highly popular Switch title Wild breath.
Following the restoration of the unused Shrine “Dungeon136”, they have now decided to “re-imagine” what it’s like to own a house at stake. If you played Wild Breath alone, you’ll know how to save some supplies and rupees for Link’s house. This way seems to go beyond mercy – making it “a worthwhile purchase”.
“Outside the village of Hateno is a cozy cottage that you can buy and own! In the basic game, the house has little purpose other than to be a place to store some equipment (and complete a search).”
“This mode reimagines that you own a house in BOTW to make it a worthwhile purchase – something you’ll want to use on a regular basis – all the time, keeping the original feel of the game and the balance of the game.”
To achieve this, Waikuteru has improved the experience of the house with a quick travel point, a warm fire to prepare meals, a bed – which now allows Link to “sleep a lot” to regain three bonus hearts and there even art concept paintings from developers.
Completion is an “extra light and tasteful decorations”, and Link receives his own personal pet (a chicken). There is also the ability to fish in the nearby pond for bass Hylian and keep your trusty steed in a stable.
What do you think about these improvements to Link’s house? Would you like to see it used more than in Breath of the Wild? Share your thoughts below.
