Zachery Ty Bryan pleaded guilty in his domestic violence case as part of a grievance agreement with prosecutors.

The 39-year-old actor was arrested in October last year in Oregon after a physical altercation with his girlfriend.

The Home Improvement star pleaded guilty to two offenses of threats and aggression in the fourth degree, according to an article published on Tuesday by TMZ.

Two serious charges of strangulation and coercion were dismissed along with several other offenses as part of the plea agreement.

Bryan, as part of the plea agreement, will be on probation for three years and must complete a domestic abuse intervention program during that period.

Bryan was arrested in October after an argument at his apartment in Eugene, Oregon.

An arrest warrant has accused Bryan of pulling his girlfriend out of bed, beating her repeatedly and suffocating her after she flew angrily over a missing cell phone charger.

Bryan was arrested just two weeks after breaking up with his 14-year-old wife.

The Colorado native is best known for portraying Brad Taylor in the 1990s Home Improvement sitcom.

Bryan married his high school girlfriend Carly Matros in 2007 and they have six-year-old twin daughters, Taylor and Gemma, four-year-old daughter Jordana, and 23-month-old son Pierce.

The victim of the October incident told police he had been in a relationship with Bryan for two years.

Bryan took to Instagram on October 1, 2020 to announce that he and Matros intend to break up.

He later removed the post announcing their separation after he appeared to have copied the text verbatim from actor Armie Hammer’s post when he broke up with his wife in July last year.
