You can no longer play Battleborn as Take-Two shuts down online servers

Battleborn PS4 PlayStation 4

Remember Battleborn? Gearbox’s response to Overwatch was a hero shooter similar to flamboyant characters, but failed to catch in the same way. At its launch in 2016, it gained quite positive reviews, but did not have much impact among consumers, and the publisher of 2K Games could not get real enthusiasm.

The game was kept alive with updates until about a year later, and in 2019 it was withdrawn from sale on digital stores. Since then, things have slowly come to an end with the server shutting down. Yesterday (January 31, 2021) was the last day you were able to connect and play Battleborn. Now, with officially completed online support, this is a game lost in time. It cannot be played in any way.

It’s a sad story, but unfortunately not every game can capture the moment the way they had Overwatch or Fortnite. The downside is that Gearbox has been much more successful recently with Borderlands 3, so we’re sure it’s not too saddened by this. Forward and up.
