Yashiro Nanakase has been revealed for King of Fighters 15 in the latest trailer released by SNK. We take a good look at his gameplay during the new trailer.
Yashiro made his debut in The King of Fighters ’97. He could no longer be played in a King of Fighters title from King of Fighters 2002: Unlimited Match, so seeing his return in King of Fighters 15 is a treat.
During one of the King of Fighters tournaments, Yashiro’s Orochi blood awoke. Then he tried to gather energy from the fighters in an attempt to resurrect Orochi.
Eventually, Yashiro and Shermie committed suicide to transfer their energy to Chris, who then acted as host for Orochi. The Three Sacred Treasures – Kyo, Iori and Chizuru – then worked together to seal Orochi again.
Verse’s defeat in King of Fighters 14 caused many characters, such as Yashiro Nanakase, to be resurrected. This provides a possible explanation for why Chizuru returned as a playable character in King of Fighters and why Kyo and Iori are now working together on Team Sacred Treasures.
