Two years after being nominated for an Oscar for Best Actress for her debut in Rome, Yalitza Aparicio is very clear that her goal now is to give visibility to the diversity that exists in Mexico and around the world, but she also knows that acting it’s her job.
In an interview with El Sol de México, the protagonist of Rome assured that she will resume her acting career, so now she continues to take classes to improve her performance.
“Of course, we will return to acting. I also took some time to prepare for different things. It’s very complicated, my respect for all the actors. But here we are, we try to put ourselves in it every day,” he said. he.
He admits that there were plans to act again in 2020, but the pandemic has postponed them all. “We will see when they resume, but I hope it will be very soon. Also, I realized that in cinema everything lasts, films are not made overnight and sometimes they last for years ”.
