The next notable Xbox Game Pass was postponed the day before its release. Yesterday, January 5, Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate were to be consolidated with a new game: Killer Queen Black. However, on January 4, the game’s official Twitter account announced that the game will no longer reach Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate on January 5 and was rather delayed until Q1 2021, meaning it will now be released sometime between now and April 1, 2021.
According to the game’s official Twitter account, the delay is reduced to the developer’s commitment to quality. In this regard, he then cites a developing “hiccup”, although he does not specify what this hiccup is.
“Our commitment to quality is the one that put a hiccup on the date of our launch for Xbox,” the game’s official Twitter account said in a statement accompanying the news. “Although we will not be available on the Game Pass for the original release date of January 5, we will be out in the first quarter of 2021 to provide an exceptional experience on all platforms and with our new Xbox players.”

For those who do not know: Killer Queen Black, inspired by the original The killer queen, released in 2019 via Nintendo Switch and PC on a very solid 83 on Metacritic. That being said, it’s not clear how robust its player base is today, which is relevant information, because it’s a multiplayer game.
