Xbox Game Pass soon loses a beloved RPG

It’s been a solid month for the Xbox Game Pass as a whole. After receiving new titles in What’s left of Edith Finch, Lantern III, and Injustice 2 to name a few, the service will now launch a few games as we begin February. One of these games, in particular, could be a hit for those who love the RPG genre.

The new list of games leaving the Xbox Game Pass in early February has now been unveiled. In total, five titles will leave the subscription service in the coming weeks, one of which is the Final Fantasy XV. Previously, Square Enix’s latest numbered entry in the long-running RPG series was available on both console and Xbox Game Pass iterations, but this will eventually end.

If you are a fan of Final Fantasy and you are bothered to hear about this development, it is not bad at all. Xbox has already announced that it intends to bring more Final Fantasy games to Game Pass during 2021. For now, we don’t know exactly when these other installments in the series will arrive, but we should start hearing more soon.

As for the other four games leaving the Xbox Game Pass soon, it’s a range that has quite a bit of diversity when it comes to genre type. Indivisible, Fishing Sim World: Pro Tour, and Sea salt all leave Game Pass for PC and console next to it Final Fantasy XV. Finally, Devolver Digital’s Gray it will be the last game to join this slate at the door. Unlike all the other games mentioned here, however, Gray was only available for the PC segment of the Game Pass.

Fortunately, if you are sad to know that these games are about to come out, you still have time to play each one. These changes will not take effect until two weeks from today, February 1, 2021. So if you want to do any of these games before, then you better make a leap immediately.

As for the upcoming Xbox Game Pass, we should start hearing more about the titles heading to work in February pretty soon. Until then, you can keep up with all our continuous platform coverage right here.
