Xbox Game Pass could arrive on Steam

The Xbox Game Pass may appear on Steam. In the past, I’ve heard that Xbox Game Pass comes on Nintendo Switch and even PlayStation consoles, but so far, none of these rumors have been realized. That being said, it looks more like bringing the popular and growing subscription service to Nintendo and PlayStation, Xbox boss Phil Spencer and his team can bring it to the dominant showcase of Valve’s computer.

The report comes in the way of Tyler McVicker, an industry expert best known for his scoops and reports on all things Valve. Speaking during a recent Q&A on YouTube, McVicker revealed that Valve is trying to get the subscription service on Steam.

Unfortunately, that’s all McVicker reveals. In other words, it is not known how this search works or if Microsoft is interested. Phil Spencer has said in the past that he wants to bring Xbox Game Pass to as many platforms as possible, but to do so, Xbox Live Gold must be available on the same platform, which is why I haven’t seen the Nintendo Switch subscription service. , PS4 or PS5. Moreover, Microsoft is investing in PC space with the Windows Store, which may or may not complicate the business.

Unfortunately, all we can do is speculate. If Xbox Game Pass on Steam is discussed by Valve and Microsoft, none of them tilted their hats in these discussions and did not comment on this new McVicker report.

For now, take everything here with a grain of salt. Although this seems to be something that could happen, there is probably a reason why it did not happen. If Microsoft brought the Xbox Game Pass to Steam, Valve would probably get some sort of cut. And if that happens, Microsoft will ask for something in return, such as Steam on Xbox or maybe a new one Left 4 Dead game.
