Xbox Game Pass adds PS4 and Nintendo Switch exclusivity

Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate have new games, including a former PS4 exclusive and a former Nintendo Switch exclusive. Today, Microsoft treated Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate subscribers on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC to five new games. Of these five games, only three were added to the console version of the subscription service, however, all five were added to the computer version of the subscription service.

The most notable addition is Yakuza 6. Not only is it the biggest and most popular game of the five, but before today, it was exclusively for PS4. Developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and published by Sega, it debuted in 2016 on PS4, but only in Japan. In 2018, it came to the west and is now available on Xbox One and PC.

The second most notable game is Octopath Traveler, a former Nintendo Switch exclusive, which debuted on Switch in 2018 through Acquire and Square Enix. Since then, it has come to the PC, Google Stage and now Xbox One.

The third most notable game is probably Genesis Noir, especially because it is a brand new version that, technically, will not be released until tomorrow. Developed by Feral Cat Den and published by Fellow Traveler, it has been added to all versions of the subscription service along with the above game pair.

The remaining two games – Supraland and Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire – Ultimate Edition – have been added to the PC version and only to the PC version. The first debuted in 2019 through Supra Games and the second succeeded in 2018 through Obsidian Entertainment RPG cars.

Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate are available for $ 10 and $ 15 per month, respectively. For more information on all Game Pass games and all Xbox stuff, click here or view the relevant links below:
