Xbox Game Pass adds its first games of 2021

Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC have their first new games in 2021. Today, Microsoft announced three new games joining the Game Pass library: Injustice 2, Little Acre, and eFootball PES 2021. Unfortunately, right now, this is the extent of the new additions, and depending on the platform you’re on or the subscription level you’re on, all three may not be playable.

The first of the three games, Injustice 2, is available on both the console and the computer. This means that whether you’re on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, or PC, you can now start playing the game through Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate. In the meantime, the other two games are only added to the console version of the subscription service.

At the time of publication, it is unclear how long any of the three games will be added. Microsoft never discloses this information and this time is no exception. None of the three games come in the way of Xbox Game Studios, which means none of them should be permanent additions. In other words, if someone tickles your imagination, make sure you check them out sooner rather than later.

PES 2021 is a notable addition for those who like some ol football simulations, but for the rest of the subscribers, Injustice 2 is probably the most notable game of this trio. What’s interesting about his addition is that he’s a few years old right now, which is why some industry fans think this could be an indication that Injustice 3 the ad is just around the corner. That being said, right now, these are just observational speculations.
