As of today, all Xbox players can play more than 50 free games without an Xbox Live Gold mvillain, Microsoft has announced in a blog post. The update follows an unpleasant reversal of the long-term Xbox policy.
In January, Microsoft has announced a sharp rise in the price of Xbox Live, essentially doubling the cost of the service required to play Xbox games online. Fans reacted negatively – and quickly. Less than 24 hours later, Microsoft reversed. Xbox Live Gold subscriptions will stay at the price they were listed before the first announcement: $ 10 for a month, $ 25 for three months, or $ 60 for a year.
Furthermore, Microsoft said that players will no longer need an Xbox Live Gold subscription to play free online games.
