2021 has just begun, but it looks like this year could be an important one for the Xbox team. To go along with many of the launches we already know, recently began to tease a notable face of the Microsoft gaming division, which this year will bring with it a number of surprises.
Today, on Twitter, Xbox Green’s Aaron Greenberg wished fans a happy 2021 before they start talking about what the company has in store for this year. Greenberg pointed specifically Halo Infinite, Psychonauts 2, and the upcoming acquisition of Bethesda as some of the most notable moments that Xbox has planned for 2021, but also indicated that “more surprises” are still reserved. “So much to look forward to!” Greenberg said to end his message.
Happy 2021 everyone, I hope you all had a good holiday. I’m incredibly excited about next year for Xbox, from our acquisition of Bethesda / Zenimax to game events / shows to new releases like Psychonauts 2, Halo Infinite and many more surprises. So much to look forward to! 🥳💚🙅🏼♂️🎮

Although it is not known what would be the surprises that Greenberg teases, the most obvious assumption involves a new game. Only in the last year, Xbox Game Studios has already revealed new titles such as Fable, Declared, Perfect Dark, and State of decay 3 among other things, but there is no indication that the publisher will slow down. In fact, Phil Spencer, the head of Xbox, has said in the past that the Microsoft team has so many games that the company will not be able to remain silent for long without revealing what it has in store.
Obviously, with such a busy year for the Xbox in the books, we will be sure to continue to deliver all the latest news about the Microsoft gaming brand here on ComicBook.com in the coming months. If you’d like to specifically track all of our Xbox coverage, you can do so by accessing this page.
