Chelsea Green sat down for an hour-long interview with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, and now the former WWE Superstar has talked extensively about her unpleasant creative plans in the company.
Like many other wrestlers who worked for WWE, Chelsea Green’s career suffered from a lack of direction in the story, combined with a skill to cause premature injuries.
Chelsea Green revealed that her original WWE call came in 2019, but it was not the full call most celebrities receive.
Green felt that there could have been a miscommunication between NXT and the main officials of the WWE list, because she soon returned to the Black and Gold brand. Green recalled teaming up with Charlotte Flair for a WWE NXT team match in May 2020 against Io Shirai and Rhea Ripley.
“So, I was originally called in December 2019. But it was kind of a weird call. It was a bad communication, maybe between NXT and the main list. I was called, but I was, but I wasn’t. And then I was on TV in NXT, which I was so happy about, you know, obviously I wanted to be called, but no one made it official. So being called to the TV was great, and then Triple H withdrew me in April or May 2020, right before the pandemic, or even at that time, because I just played a tag game. Charlotte and I vs. Rhea and I, and that was the day I was officially called. “
I don’t know if you can get a better place than that: Chelsea Green, Charlotte Flair, being her WWE mentor

Chelsea Green and Charlotte Flair won that night, and Green felt that WWE legitimately intended to make Flair protected.
Charlotte Flair raised Green’s arm after the match, and the former TNA / IMPACT Wrestling star thought that Regina approved her as the next important thing.
