WR TY Hilton returns to Indianapolis Colts with $ 10 million deal, agents say

Wide receiver TY Hilton returns to the Indianapolis Colts with a $ 10 million a year deal, including $ 8 million guaranteed, his agents, Jason and Michael Katz, told Adam Schefter of ESPN.

The 2021 season will be Hilton’s 10th with the Colts, the only team he has played for in the NFL.

He wrote in a tweet that “it’s fair to finish what I started.”

The 31-year-old spent most of his nine NFL seasons as the No. 1 receiver for the Colts, but reached the worst start of his career in 2020 because he saw a reduced role in offense.

After catching just 29 passes in the first 10 games of the season – and going through nearly two full seasons without a 100-yard game – he reappeared along the way with 27 receptions in the last six games as the Colts won a wild-card loc. He finished with 762 meters and 5 touchdowns.

Although he reached 1,000 receiving yards in a season five times during his career, Hilton did it only once (2018) in the last four seasons as injuries began to catch the veteran.

After missing just two games in his first five seasons, Hilton – the last remaining rematch of the 2012 Colts draft, which also featured defender Andrew Luck – missed a total of nine games in the last three seasons.

The four-time Pro Bowl selection has 608 career receptions for 9,360 meters – an average of 15.4 meters per catch – and 50 touchdowns.
