Well, it’s been an exciting week for the Chicago Bears. They extended a few key players – in Cairo Santos and Pat O’Donnell – along with rumors that he would put a lot of pressure on the defender. There is a key player who has not yet received a contract. This player is Cordarrelle Patterson.
Patterson signed with the Bears in 2019, playing an important role in special teams, along with being a wide receiver. In two seasons, he was targeted 42 times, catching 32 of these targets for 215 meters.
On the ground, Patterson saw more success last season, with Tarik Cohen injured. In 81 attempts in the last two seasons, he has 335 meters and a quick touchdown.
Patterson plays his big role in the return game, where he was twice All-Pro. In the last two seasons, Patterson has two touchdowns on 63 returns. He averaged 29.2 yards per return, with 1,842 yards overall.
On Twitter, Patterson had fun with Bears fans. He played the role of “GM GM”, recruiting players in the last two offseasons. This time – after pressuring Russell Wilson to come to Chicago – Patterson is curious to see where he will play next season.
In a tweet to Tarik Cohen and other Bears fans, Patterson said, “Ready to see where I play next year.”

Cohen had fun offering to recruit his own GM “Twitter.”
Hell, I never thought I’d have to recruit my own GM

Fans are even willing to donate to pay their salary if Ryan Pace doesn’t.
I would make a GoFundMe to pay your salary if Pace doesn’t want to

Kicker Brandon McManus offered the Broncos a place, saying he should join them there.
Since you can’t sign me up. You are with me too. Come to Denver

Hopefully Patterson will remain a Bear next season, although his tweet was not very reassuring. He helped a lot to offend the Bears on a few big returns. Aside from returning two touchdowns, he had a huge game upside down, kicking out before hitting the ball against the Packers during their Week 17 game. That game gave Chicago the ball on 40 meter line.
