When it comes to the fight against climate change, the coffins of the World Economic Forum believe that we can learn from the planet Venus, which had oceans and a milder climate. All this and no one on Venus has ever driven a car.
“We can learn a lot about climate change from Venus, our sister planet” read an article on the World Economic Forum (WEF) website this week. According to the post, a new scientific modeling has revealed that, for much of its history, Venus has had surface temperatures similar to those of today’s Earth, complete with oceans, rain and even snow.
Everything changed when continuous volcanic eruptions released enough carbon dioxide into the atmosphere to make the planet a scorching, uninhabitable desert that it is today.
Massive volcanic eruptions, which occur here on Earth every 20 to 30 million years, could do the same to our planet, the WEF article warned, permanently changing our planet as fossil fuel consumption could never do.
This does not mean that man-made climate change does not exist here on Earth – which, unlike Venus, we are pretty sure has been habitable (and inhabited) for some time.
But such predictions are apocalyptic and, for a legion of online commentators, have undermined the WEF’s argument that humanity must urgently move to a zero-carbon economy to survive global warming – all part of the post-coronavirus “Great Reset” provided by the organization and its political supporters.
“If the planet Venus had listened to the bastard bastard” Conservative expert Stephen Miller sent on Twitter, in an apparent reference to the Swedish campaign Greta Thunberg, whose crusade against fossil fuels dominated the headlines last year.
Venusians have not approved a green New Deal to prevent climate change and are now looking at the planet.

While cataclysmic volcanic eruptions could nullify any carbon tax, vehicle ban or “Green New Deal” passed here on Earth, the WEF article did not ignore the effects of man-made climate change – it simply did not mention it.
If this happens, the WEF already has its eyes on the moon and predicts it ‘gold Rush’ in the following decades, as companies and governments set out to strip the barren space rock of its precious thorium, uranium and helium.
