Wolverine, X-Men and Sharon Carter Stories Explained

The hawk and the winter soldier he will almost certainly make connections with the X-Men characters, but he will also bring many Captain America dramas after Steve Rogers. A new trailer for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier has dropped during the Super Bowl and it has Sam-Bucky’s supremacy written all over the jump – as if it literally starts with Sam jumping and Bucky getting annoyed … bring the couple’s advice. Throughout this too-brief look at what’s next in Marvel Studios’ upcoming Disney + series, there are plenty of Easter eggs, characters and comic book links to take a closer look at.

The entire trailer opening sequence is a reference to Cap jumping off a parachute plane, which I saw from him in Captain America: The Winter Soldierand I can’t help but feel like Bucky’s question about “What’s our plan?” is a reference to Iron Man that says, “I have a plan. Attack. “Before jumping out of a Quinjet into Avengers. Again, the Avengers love theater.

The horizon we see is Madripoor, a location that Disney could not use until they bought Fox and regained all the rights to the X-Men movie. Madripoor is essentially a super corrupt city that literally exists on its own island in Southeast Asia. He protects his criminals from being extradited and has strong ties to the mutant characters, especially Wolverine, who – in comics – fought in Madripoor during World War II – quite interestingly, he teamed up with Cap there. Will any of this matter here? May be. WandaVision seems to have a lot of X-Men endorsements, but it could all be a wish, because we’re all eager to see Kevin Feige doing his version of mutant stories.

The bastard is Baron Zemo, this time wearing his purple mask. I first saw him wearing that mask when the show was officially announced at the San Diego Comic-Con in 2019, but I don’t think that has made its way online yet – not legal anyway. He returned to try to rid the world of superheroes after he failed to do so in Civil war and he might end up in a Thunderbolts team because he’s clearly inclined toward the overly current tactic of splitting people and with the X-Men on the horizon, the Avengers all scattered and everything else going on – he might try to find a Little team, if the Red Hulk brings us to the MCU, I’m here for it.

It has been speculated that his purple MCU mask may have been inspired by Thanos, which is probably nothing more than a fun idea.

Zemo’s little servants are Flag-Smashers, they seem to be a sign of the Flag-Smasher character from Marvel Comics, also known as Mark Gruenwald. If you follow the comic example, MCU Flag-Smashers will be essentially radical, ugly Captain America who want to create and incite chaos.

There is an interesting photo of a military uniform in a high blues dress, it could be Don Cheadle’s War Machine. Cheadle said he’s in this show in a recent interview, and his Rhodie is pretty decorated.

This may be a coincidence, but a massive Steve Rogers poster is to Sam’s left, referring, well … you know. Sam seems to be crying over the shield he was given as if he should give it up, which probably covers Steve’s choice to live in the alternate chronology and not just say, “Well, he’s getting older and he’s given up. me. “MCU thinks Steve Rogers is dead and it could be after that opening sequence Spider-Man: Far From Home put it in the same memorial video as Black Widow and Iron Man.

Sam tossed the shield. Bucky catches him. In comics, they were both captains of America, so there will probably be some to play with. A moment later, the tight blow to Falcon’s face as he flew seemed to be the new equivalent of that shot of Tony Stark in the helmet as he spoke as he flew.

Sharon Carter, last seen in Captain America civil war, she’s finally back and she’s an idiot and not only is she about to save Bucky and Sam, but I think she’ll be a source of information. I saw on a T-shirt that she is “WANTED” for violating the Sokovia Accords, so she’s probably spending some time in Madripoor, maybe moving there during the blip if she hasn’t been caught and knows the mischievous streets. Whatever Bucky and Sam were looking for, he probably has some answers.

The American agent is jogging on a football field in a kind of big rally. This guy will be pretty much a government representative as the new symbol of Captain America, but his real name is John Walker and he was a hero, but he was also a bastard and I can see both Sam wanting that shield. from him, as well as Baron Zemo wanting to use him to incite a kind of division.

At one point, Sam gets that shield, because this shot of his with him is just wonderful and I can’t wait for his whole suit to be Falcon-Captain America-d up. I don’t think he throws the shield in front of this explosion, I think Baron Zemo is behind this, because it’s just at the base of the frame too cold for him to be a surprise to him.

A woman from Flag-Smashers, probably a high-ranking member and a recurring character, gets the best of Bucky, which could mean she’s an improved person, and Bucky falls off the side of a truck and simply can’t you not be reminded me how Bucky fell from a train and a mountain from Captain America: The First Avenger. Given how manipulated his brain has been, you need to ask yourself if this is causing PTSD.

The trailer ends at the moment of advising a nice couple, in which they stare at each other, like watching this trailer.
