With blue and green ribbons and flags, the deputies show their position on the three lands

The chamber of the Chamber of Deputies woke up this Wednesday with blue and green flags and ribbons in each of the legislators’ seats, showing the position on the three causes of abortion.

Almost all 190 seats in the Lower House have a blue sky flag attached to their microphones, in support of life or green, in favor of abortion under the three causes.

However, some Members preferred not to place either of these two flags, as in the case of the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Alfredo Pacheco, who avoided expressing his position on this issue through this gesture, despite the fact that both the Vice-President and the secretary has blue scarves.

This Wednesday, the report of the commission studying the draft law of the Criminal Code will start to be read.

From this legislative act, the article authorizing the three causes and decriminalizing abortion was extracted and sent to a special commission to study it.
