GRAFTON – Grafton police have arrested pharmacist Aurora Health Care who intentionally broke more than 500 doses of Moderna coronavirus vaccine on Thursday, officials said.
He was arrested on a first-degree charge of recklessly endangering safety, adulterating a prescription drug and criminalizing property. He is currently being held at Ozaukee County Jail. The identity of the pharmacist is retained at this time.
The value of the pampered vaccines is estimated at about $ 8,000 to $ 11,000, police said.
Last week, an employee of Advocate Aurora Health intentionally removed 57 ampoules of the Moderna vaccine from the refrigerator. He broke more than 500 doses of vaccine.
On Thursday, the president of Aurora Health Care Medical Group said that 57 people actually received the vaccine after being left out of it for a longer period than appropriate.
