Wine thieves throw expensive bottles at French gendarmes while fleeing £ 320,000 raid on five-star hotel

A gang of thieves who escaped from a theft of 320,000 pounds of wine ended up throwing some of the expensive bottles to the police during a car chase in France.
The thieves started throwing expensive bottles of wine at the French gendarmes, while walking on the highway on Tuesday around 5.15, Guardian reports.
They targeted the luxury Relais Château Domaine de Rymska, 29 km from Beaune, Burgundy.
The doors of the hotel cellar had been smashed by thieves, who then escaped with hundreds of bottles of wine.

The hotel owner was awakened after he started firing the fire alarm before getting in the car and running the van of the van.
He continued to ask for help as he followed them on the A ^ Autoroute du Soleil heading south to Lyon.
A police officer joined the hotel owner in pursuing the car, but as they approached the van, the thieves began throwing bottles of stolen wine at their pursuers.
The thieves abandoned their truck 22 miles north of Lyon after breaking into a toll barrier.
During a high-speed chase along the highway, the wine thieves began throwing some wine bottles out of the bottle (stock image) to a police officer.
Police said no one was injured and that the bottles thrown at the gendarmes’ vehicle failed.
An investigation has begun and police say they are looking for at least three men.
Investigators are also working to determine if this incident is related to a second burglary at the hotel that took place just 24 hours earlier.
During the previous break, a fine wine worth £ 180,000 was stolen from the same broken cellar in the latest incident.
