French writer Maurice Leblanc created Arsène Lupine, a white-collar thief who became a hit and passed the test of time more than a century ago. Now Netflix has just released a series inspired by that character, but with a contemporary, fun tone and, if you will, with some social criticism.

This is Lupine, a series in which Assane Diop, a man who moves outside the law, tries to clarify a crime of which he is accused.
“It was an injustice and a trauma for him. But his father left him a book: “The Adventures of Arsenio Lupine” (“Les aventures d’Arsène Lupine”), a very famous classic in France, which makes him grow up with the idea of becoming Lupine and at the same time take revenge for his father’s death, “says protagonist Omar Sy, remembered for his work in films such as Friends, ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’, ‘Jurassic World’ (2015) or giving voice, in French, to the animated film Soul.
It mixes fast action and even humor.
“Lupine” is a perfect toy for an actor, it has drama, mystery, romance, humor, entertainment and also action, a series of nuances that began to attract worldwide attention and was created by George Kay.

And Lupin’s second season?
Given the good reception the series has had, many are already asking for a second season which, so far, seems to be the most logical step. since Netflix announced the development of ten episodes (and the first cycle was only five), which would involve another stage of adventure for Assane.
To this we must add that many questions still do not have to be solved, and the end of Lupine realizes this. Together with is a plot inspired by a literary character from which several novels and stories have developedIt wouldn’t be weird for Netflix to have Lupine for a while.
