Keurig Dr Pepper is no ordinary pandemic piece.

The company’s coffee business received a stir when office workers began working from home, forming habits that will stick even after staff return to their booth. Dr. Keurig Pepper also has something to gain from returning demand to other parts of his business. And due to changes in share ownership, it is now the largest company eligible to join the S&P 500, which could further increase the valuation of shares.

“Coffee is one of the categories that will see the benefits of the pandemic in the short, medium and long term,” said Caleb Bryant, associate director of Mintel’s food and beverage division.
