Who did Daniel Jeremiah design for the Dolphins in the latest fake version in 2021?

Whenever Daniel Jeremiah of the NFL Network talks about something about the NFL Project, you would be wise to listen. Yesterday, Jeremiah talked about the entire 1st round of this year’s event – revealing his latest fake scenario in 2021 to explore what the Miami Dolphins and the rest of the league could do at the end of the month. Jeremiah’s mock draft featured four defenders in the first four elections; a development that certainly helped cause the Dolphins to secure a top pass catcher in this scenario.

But with options comes the opportunity to make a right (or wrong) decision. What move did Jeremiah make for the Dolphins? Here are both of his choices for Miami in the first round of his final mockery of 2021:

No. 6 in general – WR Ja’Marr Chase, LSU Tigers

. – Daniel Jeremiah, NFL.com

Nr. 18 in general – DE Gregory Rousseau, Miami Hurricanes

“Rousseau had a certain rigidity in his professional training of the day, which preoccupied some teams. That being said, look at its combination of size, length and production. In addition, his impressive time of 10 meters (1.57 seconds) will weigh heavily in the ratings. ”- Daniel Jeremiah, NFL.com

With Florida TE Kyle Pitts coming off the board in 5th place against the Dolphins, the decision with the Dolphins’ first choice came to Chase or probably to approach Pena Sewell. But given Miami’s investments in the 2020 offensive line and the depth of this year’s offensive line class, Jeremiah was inspired to offer the Dolphins Chase. The LSU product is the same player often designed at the Dolphins and in 3rd place overall.

Rousseau is a little surprising; as Jeremiah mentioned, Rousseau’s Pro Day numbers were a little disappointing after they didn’t play in 2020. But there’s little doubt that this long-armed step fits the mold of a step-by-step Dolphins and would fit even better. -along the line.
