Trying to get one Xbox Series X.? You’re not alone. Millions of gamers have been waiting for the product to launch for the Xbox inventory to appear online, and honestly, Microsoft’s November 10 launch of the new console has started to feel like a bit of teasing. Microsoft’s next-generation game consoles – Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S – sold out more or less instantly on launch day and then sold out within minutes of each time there was a drop in inventory at major retailers. In part, this is clearly due to insatiable consumer demand. But there is little doubt that it also has a lot to do resellers and robots beating regular consumers.

There is currently no inventory anywhere. In recent weeks there have been a handful of inventory drops at stores such as Walmart and Best Buy. In fact, just this week, Best Buy announced a few consoles for sale, which, surprisingly, sold out instantly. Walmart had its own inventory drops two days in a row, which ran out faster than I had to write this. This means that, for the time being, all retailers are exhausted again.
We follow your eyes on Twitter and other news sources and we will keep you up to date with what retailers like Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, GameStop and Target are planning. Even so, it’s best to keep our expectations under control: Microsoft confirmed in November that The Xbox inventory could be reduced until April 2021.
The following is a list of the main ones retailers selling Xbox Series X. Our advice is to look for the $ 500 retail price and avoid those expensive merchant packages (which include foreign controllers, accessories, and games). Even better: if you don’t have a 4K TV and don’t expect to get one soon, try Xbox Series S instead, to save $ 100.
Xbox Series X: Check stock inventory
Best Buy was the last retailer left in order in September, but is now ready to purchase your Xbox Series X, as inventory allows.
Amazon sells Xbox Series X and less expensive Series S on the same product page.
GameStop had promoted “A very limited number of Xbox Series X and S console packages to buy,” but they are currently sold out.
Walmart does a solid job of noting the availability windows for the PS5 and Xbox Twitter feed. We also recommend visiting the retailer’s Xbox landing page for both new consoles.
