Where did the Pittsburgh PPP money go: Search our map and database – PublicSource

Federal Wage Protection Program * [PPP] provided more than $ 1.5 billion to 10,675 small businesses and nonprofits with 500 or fewer employees with Pittsburgh mailing addresses.

This map was created using self-reported addresses provided by the Small Business Administration and then geolocated using DataWrapper. PublicSource checked a random sample of several dozen companies to make sure they were in the right location, but they couldn’t independently check all 10,675. If you find any mistakes, please send us an email [email protected].

We removed three companies from that map that used zip codes that were clearly outside of Allegheny County, even though they indicated Pittsburgh as the address.
