When Valheim comes on Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S?

If you’re paying close attention to game news, you’ll find it hard not to hear about it Valheim At this point. The new survival game was released in early February and began to ignite the PC world. However, if you are someone who plays primarily on consoles, you may be wondering when Valheim you may be heading to your platform of your choice. Unfortunately, you don’t seem to expect a launch soon.

In a statement to GameSpot, developer Iron Gate AB said there are currently no plans to bring Valheim the console. That being said, the studio left the door open, stating that “everything is an option at this stage.” So while it’s something that could happen in the future, Iron Gate doesn’t seem to make console ports Valheim in the immediate future.

However, this is not as bad as it seems. Many games that started exclusively for PC in the past seem to one day come to consoles. And although we can’t say for sure that the same thing will happen to Valheim, history tells us that there is a good chance it will happen one day.

Meanwhile, Iron Gate is probably much busier just trying to do it Valheim works well for players it already has. The early access title has already sold millions of copies on the PC, which means that Iron Gate certainly has a much larger player base than initially expected. As the company continues to bring the game closer to iteration 1.0, their position on console ports may begin to change.
