The Karate Kid It was a saga that marked the 80’s due to a simple but well-woven plot that threw transcendental characters, one of them being Mr. Miyagi (Pat Morita), who would be the protagonist’s mentor, Daniel Larusso (Ralph Macchio).
Miyagi, a character who would help Morita receive an Oscar nomination, he was vital in the development of the plot, due to the fact that he knew how to teach Daniel San the importance discipline, honor and other important values in its preparation, such as emotional balance and, because of this relevance, left unknown which, little by little, were resolved.
During the first three films, no one questioned his first name, which was first answered in 1989 with the animated series “The Karate Kid”, where it was given the name Yakuga, although five years later, in “The Next Karate Kid” received another name and was known as Keisuke, although obviously this name has raised several doubts.
