What do you know from the first Packers injury report in week 16

The Green Bay Packers released their first injury report of week 16 on Wednesday afternoon.

The list is 20 players long and includes five players who cannot participate during Wednesday’s practice.

Here’s something else to know from the injury report as the Packers prepare for the Tennessee Titans:

– Runner Jamaal Williams did not train on Wednesday, and could risk missing Sunday. He injured his quad against the Carolina Panthers.

– Aaron Jones has a new toe injury, but he participated in a limited way on Wednesday.

– Corey Linsley Center practices, but is not on the injury report because he is still on the injured reserve. The Packers won’t have to list him until he’s activated in the 53-man roster.

– Winger Za’Darius Smith is still suffering from an ankle injury and has now added injuries to his thumb and neck. He was limited to training on Wednesday.

– Defender Krys Barnes, who left the Packers’ victory over the Panthers after 31 extremely encouraging catches due to an eye injury, was considered a full participant on Wednesday. It should be fine for Sunday.

– Receiver Allen Lazard is facing a new wrist injury, but has been limited.

– Versatile defensive end Will Redmond has a concussion and did not train on Wednesday.

– Three players were listed with diseases: the long Hunter Bradley, the defensive lineman Anthony Rush and the tight Jace Sternberger. This is worth monitoring, but the Packers did not add anyone to the COVID-19 reserve list on Wednesday.

– Sternberger is still in concussion protocol.

– Debutant guard Simon Stepaniak was a complete participant. The sixth-round pick could be a little closer to his NFL debut.

– Extremely veteran Marcedes Lewis did not train on Wednesday, but the Packers treat today as a normal Thursday, when Lewis usually had a day off.

– The Titans were without defender Adoree Jackson and defensive forward Jeffery Simmons in training on Wednesday.
