West Texas Earth blows in Houston due to strong winds, bringing dust and fog

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) – Strong Friday winds that blew in southeast Texas calmed down, but not before bringing dust from West Texas and other neighboring states.

While air quality readings in the area are generally in the moderate (healthy) range, you may see a fog in the sky this morning. Videos from Conroe, Houston and Galveston showed low visibility throughout the area.

Once the dust clears, we will see clear skies and dry conditions throughout the weekend, before a rainy event occurs next week.
