Wendy Williams reveals that she has been linked to Method Man

It turns out the Wu-Tang Clan was something to fk.

Wendy Williams revealed that she bonded with rapper Wu Method Man at one point in the 1990s – “in the days of coke” – during an interview with DJ Suss One on Thursday.

The subject appeared semi-organic while Williams, 56, was discussing his previous cocaine problems when he said, “I smoked somewhat with [Method Man] while I gave him a bath and it was a nightmare. (Williams repeatedly confuses Method Man and Redman and refers to Method Man as “the leader of the largest group in the world,” who probably won’t get along with RZA, Wu-Tang’s brain.)

“He will deny it – maybe not,” she added.

“That wasn’t in the movie,” DJ Suss One said, referring to Williams’ upcoming Lifetime biography, which spurred her recent press tour.

Williams said the incident was left out of the film because Method Man – born Clifford Smith, 49 – “is still very upset with me,” apparently because of the incident.

Williams said she was in a club where the Clan was partying, and Method Man approached her after he was at her show. “We had weeds, but he got better,” she added.

“I think I hit my eyes and shrugged and said, you know, ‘Do you want to come?’ And said “Yes,” Williams explained in the clip, which made the couple’s name evolve on Twitter on Thursday night. The two managed to get out of the club without anyone seeing them and repaired themselves in Williams’ penthouse in Jersey City, “where he bathed in the hot tub and smoked more weeds.”

“That went back to the times of coke,” she said, adding, “I don’t remember what he did, I won’t involve him in that.”

Page Six contacted Williams and Method Man for, ah, clarifications? “Wendy Williams: The Movie” debuts on Lifetime on Saturday.
